Who Qualifies to Rent a Home?
· Gross family total income, including line 150 of the notice of assessment and other income should be below the following cut-offs:

7 persons $50,218
· 25% of income must come from employment
· Must be at least 3 years since a bankruptcy has been resolved
· Minimal long-term debt
· Monthly mortgage payments (including property taxes) are set at 25% of total family income as evaluated yearly based on income tax line 150 of the notice of assessment
· Must be willing to provide most recent Notice of Assessment from Revenue Canada for the past two years and consent to a credit check
Other Qualifications
· Demonstrated need for housing
· Canadian resident or Permanent Resident
· Will invest 250 hours of sweat equity towards working with Habitat
· Will provide references
· Will support Habitat for Humanity activities related to media and publicity
